A Colima spider vessel

A zoomorphic vessel representing a spider with six legs. This is a very rare version from the extensive canon of Colima animal figures. Country of origin: West Mexico, culture Colima. Dating 200 BCE-300 CE. A similar specimen is included in the collection of the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City.
