Five Paracas textile figurines

A frame with five Paracas textile figurines. On top a standing figurine representing a ritually costumed shaman or a mythical creature (transformation figure) In his right hand, the figure holds a ceremonial staff or spear, a classic symbol of authority, power, and religious status. In his left hand, a fan and sacrificial knife. In the lower two boxes there are four other stylized representations included. Country: South Peru Culture: Paracas. Dating: 700 to 100 BCE. Material: alpaca or ficunya llama kind.
