Eight Paracas textile figurines

A frame with eight Paracas textile figurines On top a textile fragment depicting a flying or hovering figure—a shaman with two snakes—positioned horizontally. In Andean cultures, snakes symbolized the underworld and water. There are seven other textile figures in the frame as well, such as a duck, a head, etc. Country: South Peru, culture: Paracas. Dating: 700 to 100 BCE. Material: alpaca or ficunya llama kind.
