A Veracruz hache
A so-called hache in the form of a human head with a lizard-like animal on the forehead. The object was part of the ceremonial equipment of the ball game. Culture: Veracruz, Mexico. Material: white hard stone, marble-like. Dating: Classic period, 400 – 900 AD.
