Aboriginal spear-thrower

An early spear-thrower or Woomera. A finely carved example with the distinctive geometrical design so prevalent for these objects. On the top an animal tooth is attached with plant fiber. Aboriginals from the Woomera area, Western Australië. Early 20th century or older. Wood, fiber, bone.
